How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, please fill out the Contact Us form and we will get back to you shortly.
Do you have a referral program for clients?
Absolutely! Each time you refer someone who purchases a session or service, we’ll give you one free session (of equal or lesser value).
What does my first session entail?
During your first session, you will be given a fitness assessment to determine your baseline fitness level. This assessment may include tests for aerobic capacity, body composition, endurance, flexibility and strength. In addition, you will be asked to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. Based on this information and your goals, we will work with you to build your personalized fitness program.
Do I need fitness equipment of my own?
You do not need fitness equipment of any kind. We can give you an effective, safe workout without the use of equipment. In accordance with your personalized fitness program, we may bring portable equipment periodically for diversity, or we can incorporate any equipment you may already own.
I prefer to be trained in a small gym or a studio setting. Can you arrange this?
F.I.T Bytes has access to a corporate gym which we may use during our training sessions. However, if you would like to use your home or personal gym, we can accommodate you. Please note – some private gyms and studios welcome independent trainers and their personal training clients for a fee. It is the responsibility of the client to determine if his/her gym has rules and charges regarding independent trainers. The client will be responsible for fees associated with training at these other gyms or studios.
Is my trainer certified and insured?
Yes. Ryan is certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), as a Level 1 Certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics, and as a Level 1 Certified Nutrition Professional through Precision Nutrition. Ryan has liability insurance through the NSCA. Copies of both his certifications and insurance are available upon request.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. Please Contact Us for more information.
When would I need medical clearance?
A medical clearance form is required of all participants who answer “yes” to any of the seven PAR-Q questions. Note: F.I.T Bytes reserve the right to require medical clearance from any client they feel may be at risk.
How long is a session?
Personal and group training sessions and nutrition coaching sessions are typically one hour. Individual Spinning Indoor Cycling classes range from 30 to 60 minutes. Duration of other nutrition sessions will vary depending on the service provided.
What should I wear for a training session?
Come prepared to each training session in proper workout attire and footwear – athletic shorts, gym pants, T-shirt, sweatshirt, supportive sneakers, etc. No open-toed shoes or sandals! You may also want to bring a water bottle and towel. Participants arriving unprepared for their training session will be turned away, and a session will be deducted from their purchased package of services.
Will my health and personal information be shared?
No – unless you provide us with a waiver to share your personal information. At F.I.T Bytes, we strive for professionalism and safety. One way we provide this is by complying with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) laws and industry accepted professional, ethical, and business standards in order to maintain confidentiality, optimize safety, and reduce liability.
